The first Original Innovative Ceramide of China--EOP

 

Dieckman's in-depth research in the field of ceramides, as a local high-tech enterprise, not only creates a new scenario of local original ceramide research, but also provides reference and reference for the scientific application of new active ingredients in cosmetic formulations.

 

Dieckman's R&D team has precisely designed and developed the first original ceramide of China - EOP [Patent Application No.: 202211238109X] based on years of ceramide study and medicinal molecule design concepts.

 


King of Barrier - Ceramide EOP


Ceramide EOP, like NP, is a general term for a class of ceramides.

Ceramide EOP is a generic term for a class of ceramides constructed from esterified omega-hydroxy fatty acids and phytosphingosine via amide bonds.

 


Ceramide EOP Understructure Logic

 

 Compared with Ceramide 3 and 3B, Ceramide EOP has a longer acyl chain, and forms a stacked structure with the phytosphingosine chain, which physically locks in moisture and nutrients like a wall, except that this wall is a little thicker. ② Compared with Ceramide 3 and 3B, Ceramide EOP has an ester group, which has better solubility and is more conducive to the construction of the product formulation system. ③ With higher solubility, the hydroxyl group of ceramide EOP has a better chance to connect with cell surface proteins through ester or covalent bonding, which further plays the role of intercellular adhesive from the chemical level, thus better moisturizing and guarding the barrier.

Top left: Ceramide EOP at a concentration of 0.5 mM/L, cell viability reached 122.3%, showing a very obvious effect of promoting cell proliferation, healing ability is significantly higher than that of Ceramide 3/3B, with obvious potential for tissue repair, and in the concentration range of up to 1 mM/L, no cytotoxicity, showing very good biological safety.

 

Top right: Ceramide EOP effectively enhanced the expression of AQP3 water channel protein in a concentration-dependent manner. At concentrations of 0.4, 0.8, and 1.6 mM, its expression was 1.12, 1.33, and 1.47 times higher than that of the solvent control group, respectively. Ceramide EOP showed better moisturizing effect than ceramide 3/3B.

 

Lower left: Ceramide EOP has excellent inhibition effect on IL-6 cytokine expression, and at a concentration of 1.00 mM, the expression of IL-6 factor was 0.65 times higher than that of the control group. Compared with the LPS model group, the inhibition rate was 97.19%, with excellent anti-inflammatory effect, showing better anti-inflammatory effect than ceramide 3 and 3B, which is expected to promote the repair of inflammation damaged skin.

 

Lower right: the solvent control group showed a self-healing rate of 35.74% after 24h, and 0.08 mM ceramide EOP showed a healing rate of 74.48% after 24h, which significantly enhanced the rate of cellular healing and demonstrated a very significant tissue repair activity compared to ceramide 3/3B.
